Ayusha is a CORU Registered Physiotherapist and also a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists who has a strong clinical background in musculoskeletal pain and injuries, sports injuries, women’s health conditions and neuromuscular rehabilitation.
Ayusha graduated from TMV in India with a BSc. Physiotherapy Degree in 2021 and she completed a Masters in Sports Performance at the University of Limerick in 2024, where her research focused on athlete performance and reactive strength assessment. Over the past five years, Ayusha has worked across private practice, sports rehabilitation clinics, and high-performance settings in both India and Ireland.
She has treated a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal, sports injuries, orthopaedic and neurological conditions. She has a particular clinical interest in treating postural related musculoskeletal pain, migraines and headaches, spinal disorders, cervical and lumbar radiculopathies, sports injuries, women’s health conditions such as pelvic girdle pain and pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, post-op hips, knees, backs and shoulders, hamstring and elbow tendinopathies, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, osteoarthritis, neurological conditions, stroke rehabilitation, and complex return-to-sport cases.
As a former international swimmer and long-time combat sports enthusiast, Ayusha brings a unique understanding of the physical and psychological demands of sport, exercise and performance. She has a particular interest in musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation, sports injuries, and women’s health physiotherapy. Ayusha has extensive experience in post operative ACL rehabilitation and return-to-sport pathways for both recreational and elite athletes. Her work has spanned a wide range of sports including athletics, cricket, MMA, field hockey, and Olympic weightlifting.
She completed an internship with Atlas High Performance Clinic in Limerick in 2024. Ayusha managed the injury prevention and athletic development programmes for young athletes involved in GAA, rugby, and Irish dancing. Her experience within high-performance environments has strengthened her expertise in rehabilitation planning, movement assessment, and performance-focused care.
Ayusha takes an evidence-based, patient-centred and holistic approach to treating her patients. She is a hands on and exercise based physiotherapist, who uses dry needling, INDIBA® Radiofrequency therapy, kinesio-taping and myofascial massage to reduce pain, restore movement, rebuild confidence and achieve positive and lasting results for her patients.
