Migraine is a complex neurological condition, which is classified by the World Health Organisation as the 7th most disabling disease in the world.

In Ireland 500,000-800,000 people suffer with migraine and 80% of them also suffer with headaches, that have a neck root involvement. This is where we come in!

There are approximately 20 muscles around the head, neck and shoulders that refer pain up into the head. Joint dysfunctions in the neck can also refer pain into the head. Poor posture causes havoc on the muscle and joints around the head, neck shoulder.

Our experienced physiotherapists use various techniques to address all these issues such as muscle releasing techniques, joint mobilisations and manipulations, massage, dry needling, postural correction exercises, INDIBA® Active radiofrequency to treat patients with headaches and migraines.

We also offer ergonomic advice and support for patients, living with chronic headaches and migraines and work with associations like the Migraine Association of Ireland to help patients find solutions to managing their condition.
