A chartered physiotherapist who specialises in this area will be able to identify through assessment if your presenting issue could be due to poor foot biomechanics and therefore address whether you may need a corrective insert for your shoe wear such as a customised orthotic or an off the shelf prescriptive insoles such as a Vasyli.

What are insoles and orthotics?

Insoles are off the shelf and orthotics are customised shoe inserts. Both are used to correct the biomechanical alignment of your foot and ankle joints. They are primarily used for people who have over-pronated (fallen arch) or supinated (high arch) foot types.

Poor foot biomechanics can lead to foot, knee, hip or back pain. These supportive and corrective shoe inserts help improve the alignment and prevent pain and injuries.

Cost of orthotics & insoles:

Casted orthotics: €475 (Including casting session) – book with physiotherapist Dalton Zenak Sierra.

Vasyli Insoles: €100 (Excl. assessment) – book an assessment with any of the physiotherapy team.
