Martina Tomas graduated with a master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Croatia in 2019. Martina covered a years internship in Hospital Dubrava where she managed acute and chronic neurological and musculoskeletal injuries. Whilst working at the hospital, Martina also worked with professional sporting teams including handball, football and tennis players.
Martina moved to Ireland in 2022. Martina is awaiting for her CORU registration to complete, before she can work as a physiotherapist in Ireland.
Whilst Martina has been waiting for her CORU registration to process, she has been working as a sports and massage therapist for Archview Physiotherapy Clinic, providing the following types of massage treatments, myofascial, deep tissue, neck and back, trigger point, Swedish, Cupping therapy, Indian head massage (IHM), holistic, hot stone, and pregnancy massage.
Martina has pursued post graduate training in McKenzie Method for the Lumbar Spine, dry needling and INDIBA® Active Radiofrequency, modern cupping therapy, sports taping, and strapping, along with diverse massage techniques. Martina works Tuesdays to Saturdays.
Martina has a clinical interest in chronic muscle tightness, myofascial pain, and dysfunction, as well sports injury rehabilitation, back and neck pain, postural rehabilitation, and ergonomics. She provides a stress free, relaxing treatment and strives to provide improvements for her patients.
